Works with your hardware

Hardware isn't part of the plan — buy it anywhere, or keep what you have. Mobius works with:

  • ESC/POS receipt printers and cash drawers.
  • USB keyboard-type scanners or the camera.
  • USB HID scales and label printers.
  • Stripe Terminal readers (US) or your bank's terminal.

Platform

What every module shares.

  • Roles and permissions: register PINs, manager approvals, and two-factor sign-in (authenticator app or emailed code), which an admin can require for admins, managers and accountants. Every plan has the 9 built-in roles; Business adds custom roles and per-person overrides.
  • Change history and undo void.
  • Taxes: US sales tax at rates you set, and the Marshall Islands 12% Consumption Tax from 1 January 2027 with tax invoices, your TIN and credit notes. Other countries' VAT or GST isn't supported yet.
  • Your business time zone everywhere.
  • Import tools: Import Manager, QuickBooks Online exports, and Magic Import.
  • Stay signed in to several businesses at once (company tabs in the Windows app).
  • Claude connector, on Business: ask Claude about your business from claude.ai. Anything it proposes is approved inside Mobius.
